Ethereum nears $2,200 support as whale longs emerge while $280M liquidations hit

Ethereum slid toward the $2,200 area after repeated failures to clear $2,500–$2,550 triggered a sharp sell-off. On-chain analysts also noted whale longs with over 45,000 ETH posted as collateral and roughly $100 million borrowed.
