OptionRoom is a protocol built on Polkadot that aims to create a scalable oracle and forecast market system. The protocol features a dual token model with ROOM serving as the utility token and COURT serving as the governance token.
Users can participate in event derivatives pegged to real-world outcomes by governance consensus, and governance staking and authenticity scores provide more voting power to honest participants.
LP mining is also available, where users can obtain the governance token by providing liquidity or staking the utility token. The protocol is self-sustainable and community-based, with founders receiving no percentage of the protocol fees.
OptionRoom rewards protocol and governance participants, with pools creators receiving a percentage of the pool winnings. Additionally, the protocol has multiple use cases, including oracle as a service, limitless prediction markets, decentralized polls, dispute resolution, decentralized surveys, and curated lists. OptionRoom v2 is planned to be built on Polkadot.
