英國 Joint Committee on National Security Strategy 主席 Matt Western 在周一致 Housing, Communities and Local Government Secretary Steve Reed 的信中，呼籲暫停政黨接受加密貨幣捐款。 他要求把這一暫停條款寫入 Representation of the People Bill，直至 Electoral Commission 發布指引。 該法案已於2月12日提出，並將於3月2日進行二讀。
