Bitcoin and Ethereum Options Worth Nearly $9B Set to Expire Feb. 27
About 115,500 Bitcoin options contracts with a notional value of roughly $7.8 billion and around 477,000 Ethereum contracts worth approximately $963 million are scheduled to expire on Friday, Feb. 27, data from Coinglass, Deribit and Greeks Live show. The BTC options have a put/call ratio of 0.76 and max pain near $75,000, while ETH options show a 0.77 ratio and $2,200 max pain, with call open interest dominating both assets. Greeks Live said the expiries represent about 20% of total open interest and that the market remains in bear territory, as crypto market capitalization slips 1.3% below $2.4 trillion, Bitcoin trades under $67,000, and Ethereum hovers around $2,000.
