Bitcoin Whales Lift Share of Supply to 68.17% as Small Holders Buy Dip Below $70,000
Wallets holding 10–10,000 BTC now control 68.17% of total Bitcoin supply, up from 68.07% a week earlier, Santiment data show. The firm noted that about 66% of whale holdings were sold when Bitcoin traded above $74,000, while smaller wallets around 0.01 BTC continued buying, especially below $70,000. Santiment cautioned that retail buying alongside whale selling has historically suggested a market correction may still be underway.
