Ren is a digital currency and decentralized ecosystem designed with the main purpose of ensuring interoperability between blockchain networks and easy migration of cryptocurrencies.

The Ren ecosystem integrates a decentralized virtual machine, RenVM, that leverages zkSNARK technology in validating proofs and executing programs in zero-knowledge. 

This decentralized virtual machine known as RenVM is fully powered by Darknodes, which comprises a network of machines and nodes that boosts the storage and computing power of the RenVM.

Programs deployed on the RenVM machine can create new raw data privately and still adhere to the program logic and execution. 

This opens up the possibility of rebuilding current financial apps, adding Byzantine Fault Tolerance and privacy to them. 

The Ren ecosystem virtual machine, RenVM, is a perfect substitute for the so-called centralized third-party solutions as it features completely decentralized and secure protocols.

Ren Features and Update

Ren features its native token based on the Ethereum blockchain network, which enables and powers its secure protocol for transferring and migrating cryptocurrencies between blockchain networks and ecosystems.

The Ren ecosystem has a built-in decentralized virtual machine known as the RenVM, which links interoperable solutions to the world of decentralized ecosystems.

Ren ecosystem also features three unique compartments or layers: the Zero-Knowledge layer, the Interoperability layer, and the Dark pool layer.

All three layers built into the Ren ecosystem allow for increased privacy, interoperability, and overall security of the platform.

Ren Team

Ren was developed and founded by two software developers, Taiyang Zhang and Loong Wang, in 2017.

The Ren project team is made up of brilliant developers and innovators who are constantly improving the Ren ecosystem.

Some team members include Loong Wang, co-founder and CTO of Ren, Susruth Nadimpalli, and Noah I, who are blockchain and software developers, respectively.
