Binance to halt Sophon mainnet deposits and withdrawals on 2026-08-04 as it migrates SOPH to Ethereum; Coinbase to pause AZTEC-PERP on 2026-08-17
Binance said it will stop deposits and withdrawals of Sophon (SOPH) via the Sophon mainnet from 2026-08-04 08:00 UTC and migrate the token to Ethereum. Coinbase said it will suspend trading of the AZTEC perpetual contract (AZTEC-PERP) at around 13:00 UTC on August 17. SOPH has fallen 22.74% over the past month to about $0.00389, with a $7.78 million market cap and $2.82 million in 24-hour volume. The changes involve exchange support and a derivatives contract suspension, with no direct price transmission mechanism to traditional financial assets.
