S&P 500 drops 0.5% and Nasdaq slips 0.8% as Brent nears $105 and Treasury yields climb
U.S. stocks fell across the board, with the Dow down 0.3%, the S&P 500 off 0.5% and the Nasdaq down 0.8%. Oil prices climbed, with Brent rising to around $105 a barrel and WTI moving above $100, adding to inflation concerns. Treasury yields also rose, with the 10-year up 8 basis points to 4.91% and the 30-year reaching 5.35%, setting fresh highs for the period.
