Coinbase Ventures purchased Ethena’s ENA token on the open market as Coinbase and Ethena prepare to roll out new onchain finance and digital savings offerings. Ethena said an initial growth initiative is expected to launch next week and could make its products available to Coinbase’s user base of more than 100 million people. The update comes as Ethena reported USDe supply above $1B and outlined recent expansion across Solana and multiple partner venues.

The UK Financial Conduct Authority has cautioned football clubs, including Premier League teams, that sponsorships with unauthorised crypto and online trading firms may create legal, reputational, and money-laundering exposure. The regulator said clubs should strengthen checks because supporters may wrongly assume promoted platforms are regulated and could lose all their money with limited protections.

Binance Research says bitcoin's latest pullback reflects capital rotating into a narrow set of U.S. equity themes rather than crypto-specific stress. The report highlights a Cboe Dispersion Index reading of 42 and notes Bitcoin fell 11% in Q2 2026 as flows favored AI, defense, and energy. It adds that in prior high-dispersion periods without a crypto-native crisis, BTC often formed a bottom within 0–20 weeks.

Stablecoin usage is expanding beyond trading, with filtered transaction velocity reaching a record 49.7 times annualized as supply stands near $320 billion and filtered volume totals $6.64 trillion in under five months. Ether ETFs also stayed negative for a 15th consecutive trading day, losing $44.44 million, while XRP and HYPE ETFs took in a combined $5.41 million.

Citi says tokenized securities and real-world assets may expand from about $17 billion to $5.5 trillion globally by 2030, with a projected range of $2.7 trillion to $8.2 trillion. The bank highlights tokenized Treasury bills, digital stocks, and stablecoins as key building blocks, including an estimate of roughly $1 trillion in potential new Treasury demand tied to stablecoin growth.

Binance plans to let non-U.S. users trade more than 7,000 U.S. stocks and ETFs with $0 commissions, including fractional purchases starting at $5. Users will be able to pay using USDC, USDT, and other digital assets including BNB. The exchange also said it intends to roll out "bStocks" in the coming weeks, enabling eligible users to tokenize certain equities on BNB Chain.

During May 25–29, bitcoin spot ETFs posted $1.42 billion in net outflows and ether spot ETFs saw $241 million leave, capping the final week of May with combined withdrawals of more than $1.6 billion. Over the same period, altcoin products took in capital, led by HYPE spot ETFs with $26 million and XRP spot ETFs with $15.2 million, while solana spot ETFs added $2.4 million.
