Dear Users,
In response to recent market fluctuations and to ensure the protection of user interests, BingX will adjust the maximum position limits for users on 2023-12-07 at 16:00 (UTC+8). Following this adjustment, users will share the maximum position limit for Perpetual Futures and USDT Standard Futures. Historical positions will not be affected.
(This adjustment applies to USDT Futures only, and there will no change to the position limit for Coin-Margined Futures.)
After the adjustment, the latest position limit on the website version will be updated in real-time. For the app, please upgrade to version 4.7.0 or above to ensure data accuracy. Please note that the app listing times on various application stores may vary, and we appreciate your patience.

For Example:
User A trades BTC/USDT in both Perpetual Futures and Standard Futures.
For Perpetual Futures, User A is using a 10x leverage, which corresponds to a maximum position limit of 20,000,000 USDT. Assuming the current position is 5,000,000 USDT with a limit order valued at 2,000,000 USDT.
For Standard Futures, User A is using a 5x leverage, which corresponds to a maximum position limit of 50,000,000 USDT. Assuming the current position is 5,000,000 USDT.
Before Adjustment:
For BTC/USDT Perpetual Futures, User A can continue to open a 13,000,000 USDT position.
For BTC/USDT Standard Futures, User A can continue to open a 45,000,000 USDT position.
Since they are independent, the user can hold a maximum position of 70,000,000 USDT in total.
After Adjustment:
As User A will share the maximum position limit in Perpetual Futures and Standard Futures:
- When User A opens a position in Standard Futures, the user's position in Perpetual Futures will affect the current maximum position limit. User A can continue to open a 38,000,000 USDT position.
Calculation Method: Standard Futures Maximum Position Limit - Standard Futures Current Positions - Perpetual Futures Current Positions - Perpetual Futures Limit Order Value = Standard Futures Positions That Can Be Opened
Detailed Calculation: 50,000,000 USDT - 5,000,000 USDT - 5,000,000 USDT - 2,000,000 USDT = 38,000,000 USDT
- When User A opens a position in Perpetual Futures, the user's position in Standard Futures will affect the current maximum position limit. User A can continue to open an 8,000,000 USDT position.
Calculation Method: Perpetual Futures Maximum Position Limit - Standard Futures Current Positions - Perpetual Futures Current Positions - Perpetual Futures Limit Order Value = Perpetual Futures Positions That Can Be Opened
Detailed Calculation: 20,000,000 USDT - 5,000,000 USDT - 5,000,000 USDT - 2,000,000 USDT = 8,000,000 USDT

Calculation Methods for Position Value:
Perpetual Futures Position Value = Position Size * Mark Price
Perpetual Futures Limit Order Value = Order Price * Order Amount
Standard Futures Position Value = Margin * Leverage
